Last week on the Heigraaf we took a leap back in time to the Golden Age! Our young builders built a beautiful shopping street filled with characteristic stepped gables and atmospheric canal houses from the 17th and 18th centuries during the Huttenbouwweek. Thursday night was the highlight: the Hut Building Party! The Heigraaf kids presented their beautiful constructions, could have their picture taken with Rembrandt van Rijn, roasted delicious sandwiches and even a Golden Hammer was awarded. It was an evening full of fun and nostalgia, in which the atmosphere of the Golden Age came completely to life.
