Lake Henschoter
Vacation park De Heigraaf is located right next to the beautiful and popular Henschotermeer. A unique swimming lake, in the middle of the forests, on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug.
A lovely day of lazing on the elongated "Caribbean sand beach" and enjoying the tranquility and nature. And what could be better than taking a splash in the fresh water on a hot summer day. For the children there are fun wooden play equipment like the pirate ship but also building a sand castle is a party! The paved footpath, which lies around the entire lake, has a length of almost 2,500 meters and is great for walkers and runners. The beach also lends itself well to all kinds of beach games, such as a game of beach volleyball or a challenging boot camp. At the edge of the forest are several playing fields and picnic tables to sit back and relax while the kids have fun. In short, there really is something fun for everyone to do! As a guest of The Heigraaf, you have free access to this beautiful lake during your stay, so that will be plenty to enjoy!

How proud we are of our beautiful surroundings, too! From May through September, so many fun things are organized. Think of cozy fairs, open garden days, theater walks and the famous flower parade.

Besides the beautiful nature, there are also plenty of beautiful and nice villages and towns to visit. For example, the cozy city of Utrecht, the historic city of Amersfoort and the beautiful town of Amerongen or Wijk bij Duurstede. All nice cities for shopping or a terrace to grab
