Last week at De Heigraaf, we took a trip back in time to the Golden Age! During Hut-Building Week, our young builders constructed a beautiful shopping street filled with characteristic stepped gables and charming canal-side houses from the 17th and 18th centuries. Thursday evening was the highlight: the Hut-Building Party! The Heigraaf kids presented their beautiful structures, had their picture taken with Rembrandt van Rijn, toasted delicious sandwiches, and a Golden Hammer was even awarded. It was an evening full of fun and nostalgia, during which the atmosphere of the Golden Age truly came to life.
